Before visiting your network health care provider, check to see whether or not you need to pay a copayment.

You can find out your copayment amount by looking in your benefit booklet, health plan contract or by calling the toll-free customer service number on your member ID card.

Keep in mind that copayments are due at the time of service. Here are some tips to help you manage your copayment costs:

  • Always carry your current Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma member ID card.
  • Call the precertification or preauthorization number on the back of your member ID card when required.
  • When you get to the participating doctor’s office, urgent care center or hospital, simply show your member ID card.
